Recently released data shows a continuing improvement in southern Delaware’s Real Estate market. sinlge family home sales were up 11% over the same time last year with the average median price of $305,000. This trend should continue with the goverment announcing today that the interest rates will remain low for the next few years. Sussex county has been on the uptick for several quarters and is expecting to see more in the coming months. Residents and visitors are still flocking to the sandy shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Commercial sales are up nearly three fold over the same time period last year. Companies recognize the growth with the growing numbers of retirees relocating to the DE shore.Now is the time to buy. The Peninsula Open House

Thanks to everyone that attended Saturday’s open house in the Peninsula. It was a success! Several listing agents and sellers opened their homes for the tour. It was a beautiful day for home shopping. It was great to see current residents of the Peninsula stop in and talk with potential buyers. Some of them were looking for freinds and family or to upgrade themselves. The grounds looked spectacular and amenities polished as usual.
